Now the title of this took longer to think of than the words I wish to relay.  Now everyone has a clock, and contrary to every other reference you heard I have a different story to tell. The clock everyone is given does not make a sound, no movement whatsoever.  Now this clock has no battery, no source of power.  Now the aim is to have your clock cycle through a full cycle.  Now what makes this a challenge is that there are acts that cause your clock to move forward and acts that cause your clock to move backward.
Now think for a moment, and the part you’ll find most interesting is you know what would propel your clock forward, the hard part is figuring what pushes it backward.  See the clock could move but time is always lost.  Why? Because we choose to focus on avoiding what pushes us back, instead of focusing on what propels us forward.  We dwell so much on the small cogs and gears that we overlook the beauty of the whole clock. For instance, you know the first battle that you’ve one to move your clock forward? Waking up this morning.  That is to say you got out of bed while some people sadly can’t make it out of bed and they don’t have the support you have to help them get out of bed (SO BE SOMEONE’S SUPPORT).  I’ll give you another way to move your clock, making up your bed.  Now I won’t take credit for finding that one myself, I’ve adopted it from Admiral William Mcraven.  He stated that while an annoying military practice it builds discipline but more importantly it is the first victory of the day.  Now the question you ask what else pushes your clock forward I know, so I’ll tell you some that worked for others.  For Picasso it was painting, for Gandhi it was promoting peace, for Mozart it was music.  Now while those get you from hour to hour there’s 3600 moments involved in those fields.    Life is not about prevention, it’s about the moments that send us forward, the moments that take our breath away.  That’s what cause a small ticking to resonate from within us to the clock we each hold.
