Now happiness is something every person wants.  See the root problem is there is no map to happiness.  To be sad there are absolutes, to be mad those are usually easily found, but contemplate for just a moment an absolute map to happiness.  Some say wealth, some say fame, and on the other end the Buddha said to give it all up.  So what is it actually?  Media has placed happiness to be a a result of romance, while some place happiness in direct correlation to knowledge or human flourishing.  According to Mark Manson, author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*CK states, “Hapiness is a constant work-in-progress,  because solving problems is a constant work-in-progress.”  Now to spare you reading a chapter of the book, Mark pretty much says that happiness is a form of action; it is solving problems which lead to more problems and cycle on and on.  What can I tell you?  My opinion is happiness is something that is derived from the very essence of the soul.  It differs for each and every individual and therefore one cannot provide happiness for another.  Find happiness through your time with others not through them.  Find happiness in the world around you, not your own reality.  Find happiness in the smallest acts and things and you will have began drafting your own map in every move.
